Directions for Using AQUATIZE®

There are two dilutions for AQUATIZE®:

• Under normal water conditions, dilute 1:5000 (1 part Aquatize® in 5000 parts water).  When using a proportioner (medicator), set to deliver 1 ounce of stock solution per 1 gallon of water; mix 10 ounces of Aquatize® in 3 gallons of water for a stock solution.  Administer continuously into drinking water.

 

• When heavy bacterial contamination exists, dilute 1:2000 (1 part Aquatize® in 2000 parts water).  When using a proportioner (medicator), set to deliver 1 ounce of stock solution per 1 gallon of water; mix 24 ounces of Aquatize® in 3 gallons of water for a stock solution.  Administer continuously into drinking water.  When water quality has improved, resume use at a dilution of 1:5000.

Note:  Before Aquatize® is used for the first time, water lines should be cleaned with a water line cleaner and then flushed thoroughly to remove any biofilm buildup.  In order to give animals the best start possible, Aquatize® should be administered into the drinking water from day one.  Remove Aquatize® from the drinking water 24 hours prior to vaccination and re-administer 24 hours after vaccination.  There is no required withdrawal time.
