· WHAT IS AQUATIZE®

A Proprietary, EPA-Approved Safe Water Disinfectant

AQUATIZE® is a proprietary and trademarked product — a specially formulated liquid that is applied through drinking water systems to kill pathogenic bacteria often found in the drinking water of farm animals. It is a combination of two oxyhalogens, Sodium Chlorite and Sodium Chlorate, and stabilizers.

Oxyhalogens refer to a group of chemical compounds that combine halogens (such as fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine) with oxygen. These oxyhalogens are very mild chemicals, non-corrosive, non-volatile, and stable in water for a long period of time without losing their effectiveness.

AQUATIZE® is more stable and effective than chlorine bleach and chlorine dioxide products, eliminating concerns with safety and efficacy. It is applied at low concentrations to the drinking water of poultry, swine, turkeys, and calves, and is easy to use.

· THE OVERLOOKED NUTRIENT

Why Water Quality Comes First

AQUATIZE® is a proprietary and EPA-approved product used to treat animal drinking water. For over 18 years, AQUATIZE® and related products have proven to be highly effective in the treatment of animal drinking water.

Water accounts for 50–80% of an animal's weight, and water is involved in every physiological process in an animal's body. Additionally, animals drink approximately twice as much weight in water versus feed. With this in mind, we identify that clean, sanitary drinking water is the most vital nutrient in an animal's life — but water is often the most overlooked nutrient.

· AQUATIZE® VS. SALMONELLA

The Pathogen Behind Most Foodborne Illness

1.35M

Annual U.S. Cases

26,500

Hospitalizations

420

Deaths

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that each year in the U.S., there are about 1.35 million cases of salmonellosis, with 26,500 hospitalizations and 420 deaths. Contaminated food is the source for most of these cases. Salmonellosis is the second leading cause of foodborne illnesses in the U.S., after norovirus, but is the leading cause of hospitalizations and deaths from food poisoning.

The transmission of Salmonella can occur across the entire food chain — from animal feed and primary production to households, food-service establishments, and institutions. Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium — often invasive and life-threatening to humans — are two of the most globally impactful strains of Salmonella and the most common in the United States, accounting for half of all human infections.

AQUATIZE® is proven effective against both, with a 100% kill rate when sprayed on hard surfaces.

Testing has revealed effective methods of using AQUATIZE® to significantly reduce or eliminate the presence of the following species of Salmonella:

· AQUATIZE® VS. E. COLI

Proven in Lab Studies Effective Against E. Coli

AQUATIZE® was tested across a range of dilution rates against E. coli. At dilutions as low as 1:2000, no viable E. coli survived the dose — efficacy only broke down at much weaker dilutions (1:3500 and beyond).
